Waveland - Walter Mason, 89 of Anderson, died at 5:02 p.m. Wednesday in Community Hospital in Anderson. He was a former resident of Waveland. Mr. Mason was born June 30, 1894, in Montgomery County, a son of Thomas and Anna Eliza Mason. He was married to Ruth Hunter who died earlier this year. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Oakland Cemetery at Elmdale with Rev. Scott Johnston officiating. There will be no visitation.
